Tickets and Pricing
The price for attending Night Knights will be £7 per session, or £40 for either half of the game if paid up front (i.e. for sessions 1-7 or sessions 8-14). We will not be charging for the “debrief” session.
Payment can be made by bank transfer(account details are on the character creation form), cash in session, or card in session (if the mobile signal is behaving).
Anyone1) who wishes to play Night Knights is welcome. We do not expect to need a player cap (we'll review this if we end up getting more than 40 players, but will try to recruit more GMs or reduce GM workload rather than limit the number of players).
There is no obligation to play every session, and you can start part-way through the game. If you have to miss a session or two, you can continue to submit turnsheets and email other characters2) - though if you stop attending sessions altogether we may ask you to retire your character.
Concessions
We recognise that for some people, the cost of sessions would prevent them attending. As such, concessionary pricing is available to anyone who would not otherwise be able to attend.
Automatic concessions are available as below - though even if you do not fall within this, please email us and we may be able to offer a reduced price.
- 50% concession (£3.50 per session / £20 for each half of the game):
- Anyone with a disability
- Anyone working less than 30 hours per week
- 100% concession (free attendance)
- Anyone meeting both the criteria above
- Anyone attending as a carer for another attendee
- Anyone unemployed, or employed for less than 10 hours per week
Additionally, voting members of the Oxford University Roleplaying Society are entitled to free attendance due to that society's affiliation with OLS.
Those with a membership under the previous OLS membership system will have their membership fee counted towards the ticket price (pro-rata for time remaining on the membership after 29 January 2025).
