Blue Dog (she/her)

Blue Dog is a plush animal - surprisingly enough she is a blue dog! She has long floppy ears and a plastic nose (also blue) and eyes (brown).

Blue Dog was a prize when Jordan won a Bonny Baby competition aged 1. Despite being around for most of Jordan's life, she's never been one of the most favoured toys, and lives in the big pile of stuffed animals at the foot of Jordan's bed. She occasionally gets incorporated into Jordan's games, but most of the time she's just part of the pile. Despite that, she loves Jordan fiercely, and will always go to bat for them.

Power: Enhanced senses. Blue Dog has super keen hearing and sense of smell, and can track monsters and toys by scent.

Power: Flight. Blue Dog can fly by flapping her big floppy ears!

Accessory: Blue Dog has a special blanket that can protect her from the monsters if she hides under it. Unfortunately, it hasn't been seen since the move.

Brock Lee (he/they)

Brock is a stuffed broccoli plush toy. He has legs, but most of him is just a broccoli, complete with fluffy broccoli head.

Although he has a satisfying weight when held in your hands, Brock is just a stuffed broccoli. It was a strange choice for a distant aunt to gift to Jordan, in the hope that it might encourage a greater love of the vegetable. It did not. Brock is dedicated to healthy living and wellbeing - which is all very good, but not exactly that exciting to a child. But Brock is still here to make Jordan feel as safe and healthy as possible!

Companion: Brock comes with his sidekick, Corny Cob - Corny (he/him) is a small plush of some corn. He idealises Brock, and is keen to help them out however he can. Unlike Brock, Pod has both arms and legs.

Squad: Completing the plush vegetable group, Brock also comes with a group of peas, each called Pod. They usually stay in their pod home, but will roll into action whenever Brock needs anything moved around, or to overwhelm something with small round vegetable force.

Playset: Brock and his vegetable companions come in a vegetable stall playset, where they can go to rest at night.

Disadvantage: Brock has no arms. If Corny or the Pods are not around, Brock has no way of picking things up - instead he has to kick things, or rely on others.

Fix-E Trix-E (they/them)

Fix-E Trix-E is a plastic toy robot with a cube head and a boxy body with arms and legs. They are purple and a few inches tall.

Fix-E Trix-E was a toy that was passed down to Jordan from Kelly. Fix-E Trix-E is from a character on the TV show 'Bleep-Bloop Takes on the Galaxy!' Kelly and Jordan used to watch it together on TV sometimes. In the show, the character is the Bloopers' spaceship mechanic. Kelly was gifted Fix-E Trix-E by Mum, who wanted Kelly to have toys that encouraged play with engineering and construction.

They are a newer toy of Kelly's, so are not old enough to have fight off the monsters from when she was young. Kelly gave Fix-E Trix-E to Jordan when she was no longer interested in that type of play, or in watching the show. Fix-E Trix-E likes Jordan, and enjoys playtime with them. Fix-E Trix-E is good friends with Wayne the Crane and likes to work with him on building. They were designed to have their hands swapped out to other hands in the shapes of tools, but Kelly lost most of the pieces at the old house. Fix-E Trix-E is afraid of losing all of their tools and becoming useless, so they are very protective of the rest of their tool limbs and keeps them in a locked chest when not being worn.

Tool 1: drill that allows them to tighten and loosen screws, whether those screws are metal or plastic

Tool 2: saw (plastic) that allows them to cut most materials into smaller pieces, and is powered by a sharp imagination!

Prince Solarium (he/him)

Prince Solarium is a toy from the hit children's TV series “The Celestial Cows and the Moon of Destiny”. This particular toy is a 4 inch high plastic cow, with a battery compartment to power its “show-accurate light-up action”

Prince Solarium was a gift from one of Jordan's uncles a couple of years ago, who had heard of this popular cartoon and figured all the kids were into it these days. Jordan was not, in fact, one of those kids at the time, but became fascinated with this glowing cow toy and started to get interested in the show.

Solarium fully embodies his role from the show - as a daring hero powered by the sun, ready to take part in any adventure that might come about, but also more than happy to act as the gentleman of leisure in his dream castle when there's nothing much else to do.

Of course, until recently those adventures have never had any real stakes, but surely a grand hero such as Prince Solarium will rise to the challenge? (spoiler: he'll try, but I'm aiming for “overconfident but actually a bit useless” here, in the same vein as Seahawk from SheRa or Rocky from Chicken Run)

Power: Solar Magic - When in sunlight (or light from anything sufficiently sun-like, such as a toy sun-shaped lamp), Prince Solarium can fire beams of light, which can harm those who would stand in the way of ADVENTURE and DESTINY.

Power: Light-up Action. Prince Solarium can glow, whenever he wants to, helping to illuminate dark spaces.

Playset: Solarium's Dream Castle - A grand manor, with a ballroom for balls, a lounge for lounging in, and a grand staircase for being grand on.

Disadvantage: Weaker in darkness - Solarium's powers come from light, so when it's dark he not only has no access to his magic, but also lacks even the basic strength, speed or fighting ability of a typical toy. His own light-up action does not counteract this.
