Example Character - Liza Jennings (She/Her)

Your Ticket

Valid for 1 (One) Shade to return to the Living World. When you return, you will awaken in a new body, one that those who knew you before will not recognise.

Traits

Pandora’s Parting Gift: The one thing no-one can ever take away from you, in this world or any other, is hope. You have an unwavering spirit, and are a guiding light for your companions.

Cassandra’s Curse: You have a hard time convincing other shades that you’re on their side. NPCs may be less likely to believe you, and GMs may sow the seeds of doubt in the minds of PCs you have interacted with.

Life in the Underworld

You lived in Hadestown, luckily finding a job in administration, keeping track of the goods needed for all the construction projects in the city. The days were long, and the work was dull, but at least you weren't breaking your back, and it put a meal on the table at the end of the day.

One person you keep crossing at work is Bryony Crown, who works for the transport company bringing parts for construction. Her deliveries are constnatly wrong, though she blames your bookeeping for the errors, either way the two of you have never seen eye to eye.

Margaret Quinn is another colleague of yours, though you get on much better with her. She works in accounting, having a way with numbers, and the two of you often take breaks together.

Another one of your good friends is Oscar Whitman, a drinking buddy of yours. You met at the local drinking hole a few years ago, and have been firm friends ever since. You decided together to try your luck getting a ticket, and are glad of the company on the road.

Previous Life

I don't remember much about my life before I died. I remember having children, but they were adults by the time I passed. We lived a quiet life, everyone knew everyone in my village, and people tended to stick around. We got to have big family get togethers on the regular, it was always someone's birthday, or we'd come up with another reason to celebrate.
